By accessing, registering, or using Azwaaj.com (“the Platform”, “we”, “us”, “our”), you (“User”, “you”) agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.1. Nature of Service and No Fees
1.1 Azwaaj.com is a complimentary, non-commercial matchmaking facilitation service for individuals seeking marriage in accordance with applicable law and social norms.
1.2 The Platform is provided free of charge. We do not collect subscription fees, commissions, or any form of payment from Users. Any representation of charges is erroneous and should be reported to us immediately.
1.3 The Platform is intended exclusively for bona fide matrimonial purposes. Use for casual dating, commercial solicitation, or non-marital social networking constitutes a material breach.2. Eligibility
2.1 You must be legally capable of entering into a marriage contract under the laws of your jurisdiction.
2.2 By registering, you represent and warrant that: (a) you are at least 18 years of age or have valid parental/guardian consent where legally required; (b) all information provided is true, accurate, and not misleading; (c) you are not subject to any legal prohibition on marriage.3. Account and Verification
3.1 We reserve the right to request verification documents to confirm identity, age, and marital status. Failure to provide requested verification within 72 hours may result in suspension or termination.
3.2 You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.4. User Conduct
4.1 You agree not to: (a) provide false or misleading information; (b) impersonate any person; (c) solicit money or financial assistance from other Users; (d) harass, defame, or abuse any User or staff; (e) use automated tools to access or extract data; (f) distribute private communications or media outside the Platform without consent.
4.2 Violation of this Section is grounds for immediate termination without notice.5. Content and Intellectual Property
5.1 You retain ownership of content you upload. By uploading content, you grant Azwaaj.com a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, revocable license to host, display, and reproduce such content solely for the purpose of operating and promoting the Platform.
5.2 All Platform design, code, branding, and proprietary algorithms are our exclusive property. You may not copy, modify, or reverse engineer any part of the Platform.6. No Background Checks; User Responsibility
6.1 Azwaaj.com does not conduct criminal, financial, or character background checks on Users.
6.2 You assume all risk associated with interactions, on or off the Platform. We strongly recommend involving family members or guardians and taking appropriate safety precautions before meeting any User in person.
6.3 We are not liable for any harm, loss, or damage arising from User interactions.7. Disclaimers
7.1 The Platform is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
7.2 We do not guarantee that you will find a spouse, form any relationship, or achieve any specific outcome through use of the Platform.8. Limitation of Liability
8.1 To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Azwaaj.com, its owners, officers, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of the Platform, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
8.2 Our total liability for any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed PKR 1,000.9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Azwaaj.com from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses, including legal fees, arising from your use of the Platform or violation of these Terms.10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other Users or to us.11. Privacy
Your use of the Platform is subject to our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. Please review it to understand our data practices.12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
12.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
12.2 Any dispute shall first be submitted to good faith negotiation. If unresolved within 30 days, the dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Lahore, Pakistan.13. Changes to Terms
We may amend these Terms at any time. Continued use after posting of changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be notified via the Platform or email.14. Severability
